I keep my head above water . . . barely

Just to let you know what's going on:

I am practicing the organ 4 hours most days and working on transposition, modulation, and harmonization in my spare time.

I am hardly knitting at all.

My mother is going into a nursing home on Monday.

I will let you know when things get better.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. I hope things get better for you as well. I know when I went to visit my grandmother in the nursing home (she had severe Alzheimers) it always helped if I brought knitting because it gave her something to talk to me about and gave her a single object to focus on to help keep her on track.

Oye. I am so sorry to hear your news. [I remember how hard it was when the girls put their father into the nursing home (and you know how I feel about that whole situation).]

And I am all the more touched that you stopped by to say hi, and left a comment. Hugs from Texas.

I am sending good thoughts your way as you and your family make this transition.

Maybe one day a week you could not practice but spend some time knitting, or better yet, spinning. The meditation might be good for you.

Ah, Tan-I'm missing your knitting! Hope things are better for you by now. Must be hard to be moving your mom. Sounds like you've got a lot going on. Hang in there!
